This is the infamous Watergate complex, which is next to the Kennedy Center. This is where Nixon's "plumbers" broke into the Democratic offices in search of exploitable political information. It's actually a complex including a hotel, shops, offices, and apartments. Senator Bob Dole used to live here. So does Ben Stein, the actor/lawyer/conservative pundit who played the boring teacher in the movie "Ferris Buehler's Day Off" who endlessly calls the roll, "Ferris Buehler, Ferris Buehler, ...."
