SA-2 Guideline Surface to Air Missile (SAM) The Soviets called it the Dvina but NATO called it the SA-2. It's about the size of a thick telephone pole. North Vietnam shot thousands of these bad boys at our guys but even at their best only hit a jet in one out of fifty shots. If you could see it launch, you could evade it. It's the one you don't see that gets you.
