Las Colinas. Back in the '80s oil boom, some developers built up Las Colinas around a network of canals, something like they developed Venice Beach in Los Angeles years ago. They even began building a monorail type track to scoot all the people around from one office park to another but the boom went bust before the tracks connected. So now part of the track remains, pointing to the empty pedestals that would have carried it on to success. Las Colinas is a nice part of DFW, with a lot of telecommunications companies around, like Sprint.
