I was walking from the Foggy Bottom Metro station to the Kennedy Center when I passed the embassy of Saudi Arabia. I hopped up on the steps to take this picture when a young Saudi guy in a suit jumped out and said, "Can I help you?" "No," I told him. "No pictures, no pictures," he said. I was standing on embassy grounds, so I did not make an issue of it. They're probably worried about being bombed, although it's hard to think of a reason why that would be a bad thing. I don't much care to be ordered around in my own country by evil Saudi bastards.
