Andrews Air Show; May 15, 2004

The military calls the airshow out at Andrews AFB the 46th Annual Department Of Defense Joint Services Open House. They to find a snappier name but nevertheless they put on a pretty snappy show. Andrews is the air base in Maryland where they keep Air Force One and a sizeable VIP air fleet. They had airport-type security complete with bag searches and metal detector for each of the twenty thousand plus people who came to see the show. No knapsacks, no coolers, no nothing that Wahhabi terrorists might use to carry a bomb to blow up infidel aircraft and the infidels who came to see them. Bit by bit, every big event is turning into a minimum security prison. Be that as it may, it was still a pretty good time.
