I went over to Southwest Airlines headquarters to do lunch with my pal, Lisa. As you can see, they're adding a big new section to the headquarters. SWA is eating up market share from the major airlines along with Jet Blue. When I left SWA about five years ago, they were adding a big new section to the headquarters.

Lisa is a sweetheart. Years back, she got letters from poor children sent to Santa that were just heartbreakers. One little girl was asking Santa to bring her a warm coat for Christmas because she said she was cold some days. She said it didn't have to be new. Lisa organized a group to answer these kids letters and fulfill their requests. Later she organized a program to adopt a school on the poor side of town and give each kid school supplies at the beginning of the year. I really liked stuffing those backpacks full of school stuff for the kids in August.

However, I got so caught up talking to her that I forgot to take a picture of her. I must be slipping.
